The Roaring 20's

Outfit: Chambray Shirt (American Eagle), Sweater (American Eagle), Vest (J. Crew), Leggings (Victoria's Secret), Shoes (Target), Bracelets (Alex and Ani)

So I recently turned 20, and the first thing that came to my mind is that I am no longer a teenager. It's crazy to think that I'm officially an adult! For my 20th birthday, I got to go up to New York City for my fall break and spend time with my older sister. It was great to see her, as well as see one of my favorite cities in the world. We went to the top of the Freedom Tower, had a picnic in Washington Square Park, strolled Central Park, had our aura's read, and ate a lot of amazing food! I always love going to the city, not only because I get to see my sister, but I always discover something new in the city. For me, I thought turning 20 would mark the end of my childhood, but it's not like you turn 20 and immediately hate all of your memories as a child. I still have amazing memories that I will always remember, but just like New York, something new will always appear. That is how I plan to live out my 20's. To reminisce on old memories, but not be afraid to make new ones. There will be bumps along the way, for I know life isn't perfect, but if I look at life in a positive way and just keep going, I know I can make the most of it. So a toast to my childhood, and may this next decade bring me joy, love, friendship, and memories of my entrance into adulthood.

Photos of my trip, and outfits I wore below.

Shirt (Hollister), Leggings (American Eagle), Socks (Aeropostale), Shoes (Converse)
