The Last First Day

On August 27th, 2018, I had my official last first day of school. It was an exciting, crazy, unbelievable, and emotional day. I never thought I'd be sad to only have one year of school left. Not only has college been the best years of my life thus far, but I have made so many unbelievable memories, and lifetime friendships.
On my last first day of school, I felt the same way as I did on my first day of freshman year of college. I was nervous, and had butterflies in my stomach. The only difference between the two first days is the familiarity with the campus, and that I may have teared up a bit (can you guess which first day that was?!). I asked my friends who are pictured in the image above how they felt on both of their first days. Some cried, some felt as I did, and some didn't feel that way at all. However, one of my friend's said something that really warmed my heart. She said how her first day of freshman year of college, she was nervous, and hadn't really met anyone yet. On her last first day she felt confident, and was happy that she had amazing friends to get through senior year with. In the end, we all couldn't believe that we were officially seniors!
It's crazy to think how fast this journey has gone by, and how in just a short time, we will all be going on to the next chapters of our life. I'm just happy to be with all of my friends, taking on this last year of college with them. I don't know what kind of person I'd be without all of them (even the ones not pictured).
